Hadith 6150

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ خُيَلَاءَ ، لَمْ يَنْظُرْ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever drags his clothes on the ground out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection.
