(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ مُهَلَّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ , ذُو الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَمُهَلَّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ , مَهْيَعَةُ ، وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ ، وَمُهَلَّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ , قَرْنٌ " ، قَالَ سَالِمٌ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ , يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that for the people of Madinah, Dhu’l-Hulayfah; for the people of Sham, Juhfah; and for the people of Najd, Qarn are the miqat. And Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that I heard these things from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
