Hadith 6131

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحِبُّ إِذَا اسْتَطَاعَ ، أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى مِنْ يَوْمِ التَّرْوِيَةِ ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى " .
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) preferred to perform the Zuhr prayer of the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah in Mina as much as possible, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also performed the Zuhr prayer in Mina on that day.
