Hadith 610

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ الْأَجْدَعِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُصَلَّى بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءَ مُرْتَفِعَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No prayer should be performed after the Asr prayer, except if the sun appears clear and bright, then it is permissible."
