Hadith 6071

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ " ، وَنَافِعٌ : أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing voluntary prayers on his mount, and Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would also do likewise.
