Hadith 6014

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : , قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي الْوَحْدَةِ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَمْ يَسِرْ رَاكِبٌ بِلَيْلٍ وَحْدَهُ أَبَدًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If people knew the harm of traveling alone, then no one would travel alone at night.
