Hadith 6012

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَهَى عَنِ النَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade (the use of) naqir, muzaffat, and dubba.
