(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أُثَيْعٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ هَمْدَانَ ، سَأَلْنَا عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ بُعِثْتَ ؟ يَعْنِي : يَوْمَ بَعَثَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فِي الْحَجَّةِ ، قَالَ : بُعِثْتُ بِأَرْبَعٍ : " لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُؤْمِنَةٌ ، وَلَا يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَهْدٌ ، فَعَهْدُهُ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِ ، وَلَا يَحُجُّ الْمُشْرِكُونَ وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَذَا " .
Different narrators report that once we asked Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) what message the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave when he sent Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) as the leader of the pilgrims. He replied that I was sent with four messages: First, that no one except Muslims will be able to enter Paradise; second, that from now on, no one will be allowed to perform Tawaf of the Ka'bah naked; third, that any person who has a treaty with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it will remain valid until its term ends; and fourth, after this year, the polytheists will not be able to perform Hajj with the Muslims.
