Hadith 5858

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ ، وَغِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The tribe of Aslam, may Allah keep it safe; the tribe of Ghifar, may Allah forgive it."
