Hadith 5853

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ , يَقُولُ : " وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ : ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ : قَرْنًا ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ : الْجُحْفَةَ ، وَزَعَمُوا أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ : يَلَمْلَمَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fixed Dhu’l-Hulaifa as the miqat for the people of Madinah, Juhfa for the people of Sham, and Qarn for the people of Najd, and people say that Yalamlam was fixed as the miqat for the people of Yemen.
