Hadith 5833

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ بَكَّارٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُنْدَةَ , أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ طَاوُسًا عَنِ الشَّرَابِ ، فَأَخْبَرَهُ , عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَهَى عَنِ الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ " .
Khalad bin Abdur Rahman asked Tawus about wine, so he narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (the use of) pitchers and gourds.
