(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ ، وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ " ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : إِنَّ أَصْحَابَنَا حَدَّثُونَا عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ! قَالَ أَبِي : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every intoxicating thing is wine, and every intoxicating thing is unlawful." Some have transmitted this hadith as mawquf and some as marfu'.
