(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا عَلِيُّ ، أَسْبِغْ الْوُضُوءَ وَإِنْ شَقَّ عَلَيْكَ ، وَلَا تَأْكُلْ الصَّدَقَةَ ، وَلَا تُنْزِ الْحَمِيرَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ ، وَلَا تُجَالِسْ أَصْحَابَ النُّجُومِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ali! Perform ablution well, even if it is difficult for you (for example, in the cold season). Do not eat charity, do not make donkeys run over horses, and do not associate with astrologers."
