Hadith 5818

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَمُتْ ، فَإِنِّي أَشْفَعُ لِمَنْ يَمُوتُ بِهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is able to die in Madinah should do so, for I will intercede for those who die in Madinah."
