Hadith 5815

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُتِيَ وَهُوَ فِي الْمُعَرَّسِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي ، فَقِيلَ : إِنَّكَ فِي بَطْحَاءَ مُبَارَكَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that at the encampment of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) — which was in the valley near Dhu’l-Hulayfah — an angel came and said: "You are in the blessed plain."
