(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الْغَلَابِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ الْعَقِيقَ : " فَنَهَى عَنْ طُرُوقِ النِّسَاءِ اللَّيْلَةَ الَّتِي يَأْتِي فِيهَا ، فَعَصَاهُ فَتَيَانِ ، فَكِلَاهُمَا رَأَى مَا كَرِهَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) camped in the valley of Aqeeq, he forbade people from suddenly returning to their wives at night without prior notice. Two young men did not comply, and both had to witness unpleasant scenes.
