Nafi’ reports that on one occasion in “Wadi Dhajnan,” Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had the call to prayer given for salah, then made this announcement: “Pray in your tents.” And he narrated this hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while traveling, on cold nights or rainy nights, would have the prayer announced and then make this proclamation: “Pray in your tents.”
