Hadith 5779

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلَاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ تَفْضُلُ صَلَاةَ أَحَدِكُمْ بِسَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The superiority of prayer in congregation over prayer performed alone is twenty-seven degrees."
