Hadith 5778

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا ، أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِي غَيْرِهِ ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Except for Masjid al-Haram, offering prayer in this mosque of mine is superior to a thousand prayers in other mosques."
