(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ سَلْمَانَ يُحَدِّثُ فِي بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " حَفِظْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ سِوَى الْفَرِيضَةِ : رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I have memorized from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ten rak‘ahs apart from the obligatory prayers: two rak‘ahs before the Zuhr prayer and two after it, two rak‘ahs after Maghrib, two rak‘ahs after ‘Isha, and two rak‘ahs before the Fajr prayer.
