Hadith 5755

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ الْقَاصُّ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ , يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ : إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ ، وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ ، وَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : وَسُورَةَ هُودٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wants to see the scene of the Day of Resurrection with his own eyes, he should recite Surah Takweer and Surah Infitar, and perhaps Surah Hud was also mentioned."
