(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ حَاتِمِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ , يَقُولُ : رَأَيْتُ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ بِمِنًى ، عَلَيْهَا دِرْعُ حَرِيرٍ ، فَقَالَتْ : " مَا تَقُولُ فِي الْحَرِيرِ ؟ فَقَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْهُ " .
Hatim bin Muslim says that I heard a man from the Quraysh saying that I saw a woman coming to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) in the plain of Mina, who was wearing a silk shirt. She came and asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about his opinion regarding silk. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has prohibited it (for men).
