Hadith 5739

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ سَلْمَانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : حَفِظْتُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ : " رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I have memorized ten rak‘ahs from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): two rak‘ahs before the Zuhr prayer and two after it, two after Maghrib, two after ‘Isha, and two rak‘ahs before the Fajr prayer.
