(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى أَنْ يُرِيَ عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَيَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The greatest lie is that a person describes a dream which he did not see."
