Hadith 5691

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : رَمَقْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهْرًا ، فَكَانَ " يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ، وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I observed for a whole month that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Al-Kafiroon and Surah Al-Ikhlas in the two rak'ahs (Sunnah) before Fajr.
