Hadith 569

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْ الْفَجْرِ عِنْدَ الْإِقَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr close to the time of Iqamah.
