Hadith 5689

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ جُنَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لِجَهَنَّمَ سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ ، بَابٌ مِنْهَا لِمَنْ سَلَّ سَيْفَهُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي " ، أَوْ قَالَ " أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Hell has seven gates, one of which is for the person who draws a sword against my Ummah."
