Hadith 5688

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيز يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ " إِذَا انْصَرَفَ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، انْصَرَفَ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ ، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ، وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ " .
When Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would return home after offering the Friday prayer, he would perform two rak‘ahs at home and would state that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to do the same.
