Hadith 5575

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنْ يَكُ مِنَ الشُّؤْمِ شَيْءٌ حَقٌّ ، فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ ، وَالْفَرَسِ ، وَالدَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If there were to be any bad omen in anything, it would be in three things: the horse, the woman, and the house."
