(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ ، طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّفَا مِنَ الْبَابِ الَّذِي يَخْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ ، فَطَافَ بِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ " ، قَالَ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : هُوَ سُنَّةٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Makkah Mukarramah, performed the circuits of Tawaf, prayed two rak‘ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim, then exited through the door that leads towards Safa, and performed Sa‘i between Safa and Marwah. Then he said: "This is Sunnah."
