Hadith 5564

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ أَوْ ابْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَاعِدًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الْغَفُورُ " ، حَتَّى عَدَّ الْعَادُّ بِيَدِهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that once he was sitting with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, began to repeat this phrase «اللّهُمَّ اغفِرليِ وَتُب عَلَيَّ اِنَّكَ اَنتَ التَوَّابُ الغَفُورٌ» until the one counting counted it on his hand one hundred times.
