Hadith 5538

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ " أَقَامَ بِجَمْعٍ ، قَالَ : وَأَحْسِبُهُ وَأَذَّنَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ، فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : صَنَعَ بِنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ هَذَا ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : صَنَعَ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ هَذَا .
Hakam says that at Muzdalifah, Sayyiduna Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) led us in the Maghrib prayer as three rak'ahs with iqamah, then after concluding with salam, he led us in the 'Isha prayer as two rak'ahs due to travel. Then he said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also did the same with us at this place and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also did the same with us at this place.
