Hadith 5535

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبًا مِنْ ثِيَابِهِ مَخِيلَةً ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drags his clothes on the ground out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection."
