Hadith 546

(حديث مقطوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ : أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ " قُتِلَ فِي أَوْسَطِ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ " .
Abu Uthman says that the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) occurred during the days of Tashreeq. (Not many days had passed since the days of Tashreeq.)
