Hadith 5404

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُعَذَّبِينَ ، إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ، أَنْ يُصِيبَكُمْ مِثْلُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Enter the lands of the punished nations weeping; if you are not able to weep, then do not go there, for I fear that the same punishment that befell them may befall you as well."
