Hadith 5376

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَتَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ أَوْ مِنْ بَحْرِ حَضْرَمَوْتَ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ، تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ " ، قَالَ : قُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُنَا ؟ قَالَ : " عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّاَمِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Near the Day of Judgment, a fire will emerge from the sea of Hadramaut and will drive the people forward. We asked: O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do at that time? He said: "Make the land of Sham obligatory upon yourselves (go there)."
