(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْحَارِثِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا لَقِيتَ الْحَاجَّ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ ، وَصَافِحْهُ ، وَمُرْهُ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ لَكَ ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتَهُ ، فَإِنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you meet a pilgrim, greet him with salam, shake hands with him, and ask him to pray for your forgiveness before he enters his home, for he is forgiven."
