Hadith 5364

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَبِشْرُ بْنُ عَائِذٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Silk clothing is worn by the one who has no share in the Hereafter."
