Hadith 5358

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي ، أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Except for Al-Masjid Al-Haram, offering prayer in this mosque of mine is superior to a thousand prayers in other mosques."
