Hadith 5348

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ ، حدثنا عبد الله ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " سَبَّقَ بِالْخَيْلِ وَرَاهَنَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held a horse race and set a specific place and stipulated a condition.
