It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of Muzabana. Nafi' explains the sale of Muzabana as selling the dates on the trees according to a fixed estimate and saying: "If more comes out than this, it is mine, and if it is less, it is still mine."
