Hadith 5286

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَنْفَالِ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ ، وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted two shares for the horse and one share for the rider in the distribution of war booty.
