Hadith 5273

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ ، سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " لَا تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) once stood among us and said: Do not sell the fruit until it ripens, until its ripening becomes clear.
