(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ
حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ
بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، سَمِعْتُ
ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ رَفْعَكُمْ أَيْدِيَكُمْ بِدْعَةٌ ، مَا زَادَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى هَذَا " ، يَعْنِي : إِلَى الصَّدْرِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that your raising of the hands is an innovation; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not extend his hands beyond his chest.
