Hadith 5261

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ ، وَغِفَارُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا ، وَعُصَيَّةُ عَصَتْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The tribe of Aslam—may Allah keep it safe; the tribe of Ghifar—may Allah forgive it; and 'Usayyah disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."
