Hadith 5242

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَدَّهِنُ بِالزَّيْتِ غَيْرِ الْمُقَتَّتِ عِنْدَ الْإِحْرَامِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter into the state of Ihram, he would use olive oil in which flowers had been added but had not been boiled.
