(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى ، عَنْ
سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعْتُ
ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ ، أَوْ ثَوْبَهُ شَكَّ يَحْيَى مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ ، لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drags his clothes on the ground out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection."
