Nafi' reports that once in the valley of Dajnan, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had the call for prayer announced, then made this proclamation: "Pray in your tents." And he narrated this hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also, during travel on cold nights or rainy nights, would have the call for prayer announced and then proclaim: "Pray in your tents."
