(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ ، فَقَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ الْعَاهَةُ " ، قُلْتُ : وَمَتَى ذَاكَ ؟ قَالَ : حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الثُّرَيَّا .
Abdullah bin Saraqah, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, about the sale of fruits, so he said that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the sale of fruits before the end of «عاهه». I asked him about the meaning of «عاهه», so he said: The rising of the Thurayya star.
