(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي : حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ
مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مَخِيلَةً ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drags his clothes on the ground out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection."
